Born in 1997 as a digital native, Max Folke Prothmann has been captivated by film since he started editing at 12. Starting with video game highlights, he quickly dove into in-game camera engines, crafting his early cinematic style.
With the gift of a digital camera, Max transitioned from virtual environments to the real world, capturing random content and honing his eye for compelling visuals. Self-taught through YouTube tutorials and music videos, he mastered complex effects and eventually directed music videos for some of the biggest names in the German hip-hop scene.
Graduating in Film & Motion Design in 2021, Max’s thesis seamlessly blended JDM culture with K-pop aesthetics, showcasing his talent for merging diverse cultural influences into a cohesive narrative.
